The use of copyright material is of course possible but it is illegal in the eyes of the copyright owners. We currently do battle for an extension of the use of excerpts as short quotes.

But because we would like to help you mashuping and also being in good standing with the law, we will focus on  rights free materials, free and easy to find on the internet.

 No matter the nature of the raw material you are using , never forget to mention the original authors. Mashup is a borrowing cinema (not theft!). It aims at the acknoledgement of your work but also the work of all its original creators!
